Role Overview

We are looking for a talented and dynamic Video Editor to join our creative team. This role blends strong video editing skills with the ability to contribute to storytelling and on-screen performance. You'll be involved in shaping engaging video content for various platforms, including social media, YouTube, and our educational products.

Responsibilities

Edit video content for social media, YouTube, websites, and other platforms.
Use acting and storytelling techniques to shape tone, emotion, and pacing.
Collaborate with content creators and directors to align with project vision.
Apply transitions, effects, and animations to enhance viewer engagement.
Select and refine raw footage, apply color correction and audio mixing.
Assist in video scripting and narrative structure when needed.
Communicate with team members to meet project deadlines and expectations.
Stay current with video editing trends, styles, and new technologies.

Requirements

Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Audition.
Strong acting skills with the ability to contribute emotionally to content.
Attention to detail and a sharp visual storytelling instinct.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Understanding of video production workflows, from pre- to post-production.
Familiarity with video format and platform-specific requirements.

Preferred Skills

Motion graphics and animation skills using Adobe After Effects.
Audio design and sound editing expertise using Adobe Audition.
Experience creating content for social media platforms.
Background in acting, storytelling, or performing arts is a plus.
